Aged care advice is nothing short of a passion for Bruce. When his own family faced the struggles of his father entering aged care, Bruce knew there was a need for more help to be available to others facing the daunting financial aspects of aged care. We love seeing his excitement when he comes up with a particularly great solution for clients and he is passionate when advocating for our clients’ best interests.
With over twenty years of experience in providing financial advice, our clients often comment on the empathy and understanding offered by Bruce in addition to his excellent skills in aged care funding.
Katie has been with Sage Care Advice since its inception. Stepping up from the role of Client Care Advocate to Aged Care Adviser after completing her Diploma of Financial Planning in 2018, Katie has assisted many clients through the aged care maze and the obstacles families find themselves facing when a loved one enters care.
Katie is knowledgeable and extremely passionate about her job, she gets a buzz out of assisting clients, particularly when she can change an often, bleak outlook into a positive one. Katie’s friendly nature and great sense of humour will make you feel welcome and instantly at ease.
Outside of work life, Katie has two young active boys that keep her very busy.
Lisa is a genuine Sunshine Coast local, she has been with our team since mid-2019 and she is an admin superstar!
Always armed with her trusty blue pen, she is ready to assist you to complete the Government forms required in the aged care process. If you have a problem, Lisa will do her best to solve it as soon as she can, with the care and compassion you deserve.
Providing admin support to our advisers is not Lisa’s only interest, she also enjoys, surfing, paddle boarding, bike riding and spending time playing Pokemon with her grand kids.
Billie joined us all the way from Adelaide, via Brisbane, London, and Brisbane (again)! Her down to earth nature and sparkly smile are what makes Billie a perfect addition to our team. She completed Certificate III in Business Administration in 2021 and was awarded East Coast Apprenticeships’ Business Administration Trainee of the Year 2021. Billie enjoys learning more about aged care every day and is an asset to our team.
In her spare time, you might see Billie going for a run, climbing a mountain, or cruising up the beach, looking for the perfect spot to fish.
Rae joined our team with previous experience in administration and reception roles. She is very efficient and organised, however being kind and helpful is her speciality. Her role involves manning the phones, keeping the office in order and the advisers in line - Rae is a busy and valued member of our team.
Bringing a warmth to the office, she is our own “Rae” of sunshine! While she is off the clock, Rae loves music, drawing, shopping and heading to the beach.
